The Lynx Eventing helmet with MIPS features dual ventilation to keep the rider comfortable even in the toughest situations. The inner lining has Coolmax® technology that wicks away moisture and keeps you dry and cool. The lining is removable and can be easily washed clean with lukewarm water.
The helmet has a durable surface layer and is designed without any protruding shapes so as not to get stuck in the event of an accident, therefore, it does not have a visor. The helmet has been fitted with a lacing at the base of the head for optimal fit and stability. Optimal for eventing riders and jockeys!
Fit: Generally the Lynx is designed to fit a rounder-shaped head. Choose the size that corresponds to the circumference of your head. If you choose between two sizes, choose the size larger because the fit of the helmet can be slightly adjusted using a lacing in the neck.
MIPS is an additional liner that is incorporated inside the riding helmet. This low-friction layer enables your head to move 10-15mm in all directions, which has been proven to reduce the rotational movement to the brain and therefore injury (particularly concussion and traumatic brain injury).

Manufacturers recommend replacing every 5 years but helmets just have to comply with Australian standards. The years that are associated with applicable standards are not the year of manufacture for that helmet, but the year the helmet standard was released, superseding the previous standard.
